A Night With SZA

Good vibes, dank weed and current, hot fashion was all surrounding me as I, along with hundreds of others patiently wait for SZA to grace the stage. This past Saturday in Atlanta at CenterStage; SZA and her beautiful big hair were able to bless the city with an amazing, sold out show.

2015: Plan, Prepare, Party!

So with this being my first blog post of the new year, I'll start this off by saying: Happy New Year! I hope that everybody brought in 2015 with a bang. If not, well that's ok too lol. Luckily, I was able to go out with some friends to a NYE party out in Charlotte, which might have been the most successful NYE night I've ever had. With that being said; for this year, I definitely expect it to be a little better for me, than 2014 has been. Not because I'm simply assuming that since it's a new year that changes will automatically happen, but because I will make certain that some changes are made.

For Christmas, I received the best gift that I literally only asked for (along with some MAC lipstick); #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso. For those who don't know, Sophia Amoruso is the CEO and founder of the awesome clothing store, Nasty Gal. In her book, she discusses how her business came to be and how all of her mistakes lead her up to being the owner of this million dollar business. She also gives meaningful and memorable life lessons that every #GIRLBOSS should try to keep in mind. Sophia aims to inspire young women who read her book, that you too can achieve anything you put your mind to and how to be a #GIRLBOSS.

A Change Will Come.

So by now, I'm hoping that we all know what has recently been going on in our country. The Grand Jury has decided to not indict 2 separate police officers based on the killings of 2 separate black men; Mike Brown and Eric Garner. With that being said, what does that say about our country?
